Cuco Ziganda deny report of move to FC Twente

Osasuna boss Cuco Ziganda has reacted quickly to quash reports linking him with the vacant FC Twente head coaching post.

Reports in the Netherlands on Friday affirmed the Spanish is the latest in a long line of names set to replace former boss Fred Rutten, who has left to join German side Schalke.

However, he insists Ziganda is excited about the upcoming La Liga season with Osasuna and think of nothing else.

"I will not waste a second thought to this subject. I am only thinking about Osasuna, "he told Spanish newspaper Marca.

"I am very focused on Osasuna and I do not know anything about a possible offer. "I am very excited about the new draft the club (Osasuna) for the next season."

Former England coach Steve McClaren and Denmark boss Morton Olsen are two names to be linked with the vacant post at Dutch side.

Twente will play in the Champions League next season after beating Ajax in the Eredivisie play-offs.
