Sergio Ramos flattered by interest from Manchester United
MADRID, June 13 (Primera Liga) - Spain defender Sergio Ramos is reported flattered by the interest from Manchester United and admitted that he "see what happens as a result of the Euro 2008.
The Real Madrid defender has been a mainstay of the club Primera Liga title defence last season and is a first choice for the national team coach Luis Aragones.
Although he stressed he was not fishing for one round while his focus was on events in Austria and Switzerland, he was vague about his future after the summer showpiece.
When asked about United's interest on radio station Canal Sur, he said: "It's a good sign that big clubs interested in me, but for the moment I am not ' consider anything.
"I have a good contract with Madrid and I am concentrating on the national team. At Euro 2008 ends, we will see what happens. "
Sergio Ramos Bravo agent did little to quell the speculation by claiming he has a good working relationship with the Old Trafford club.
He said: "It is true that on Monday I was in England.
"I have a good relationship with Manchester United. I sorted the transfer of (goalkeeper) Ricardo the English club. "
A compromise might be difficult to negotiate, however, that United has recently indicated FIFA in Madrid on claims the Spanish giants have carried out a deliberate campaign to upset of Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
