David Albelda he has yet receive an offer

Want-away Valencia midfielder David Albelda admits he has not yet received an offer from another club despite reported interest from Chelsea.

Reports in Spain yesterday claimed the Premier League runners-up would be interested to end Albelda specify the Mestalla by taking him to London, but only if the player was available on a free transfer.

With Los Che reported to be in financial difficulties because of their early exit from the Champions League last season, combined with the cost of building a new stadium and the compensation paid to former coach Ronald Koeman, the Spanish club do unlikely to consider letting the player go for nothing, despite the fact it did not appear much last season.

Albelda admitted today that Valencia have not yet received any offers for him, but added that it would be more than willing to listen to offers if and when they come.

"It is my duty to listen to offers because Valencia are after money for me," he told Valencia newspaper Las Provincias.

"What we are sure it is difficult for them to reach an agreement. Until now, all there has been an interest, but nothing concrete.

"At this moment I am on vacation and I do not want to know all this.

"I am a Valencia player, I have a contract with them and I will get involved only when it is time to sign something, if at the end there is an agreement".

Albelda is seeking to abandon after being removed from the Valencia first team by Koeman last season, after which he served more than the campaign team disappointing.

The club's new coaching staff said they wanted to remain Albelda, but insists the midfielder, it is too late to repair the damage.

"Valencia should have considered me an important player in December, not now," he continued.

"That's what I would have liked, have thought about this the day they took the decision to kick me out of the first team and run the club values the floor.

"Honestly, I do not feel Nor can I feel important for them (the directors' club)."
